Hubble Bubble

The preliminary results of a survey of a section of our Milky Way galaxy using the Hubble orbiting telescope over the course of seven days in February indicate that it is quite probable that most sunlike stars in our galaxy, and probably in the universe, are surrounded by planets. While as yet unconfirmed, the survey discovered approximately 100 planets, nearly doubling the number of stellar satellites found since the mid-1990s.
